The book on how I reclaimed my attention

What worked for me to stop being an unfocused zombie at the mercy of the algorithms.

I love many things, but writing is probably my favourite daughter. That’s why, within this space where I’ve built a home for my creations, the written ones will also have a place.

And the main one right now is writing a concise, enjoyable, and above all, practical and data-backed book, detailing how I reclaimed my attention in a world that never stops trying to steal it by any means necessary.

I’m pouring out what worked best for me (much of which is built into the Mind Focus app) and also the defeats, because that’s life and there’s no point hiding them, like some gurus who seem that they can do no wrong.

When will it be ready?

Hopefully soon, but the truth is that, despite what these times try to sell us, a good book requires care, attention, and a great deal of time and frustration, which is a required ingredient for stories to be truly good.

I know that sounds old-fashioned in a world where spitting words (that are not really writing) means pressing a button and getting whatever comes out (since no one bothers to read it, especially, the button-presser), but this is my house and I’ve always looked at the world and its ways with a little suspicion.

It’s ok, I won’t change that world (I think) nor do I intend to, but news about the book will keep appearing on this site.

Until then, I have words to write…
