Radical Privacy Policy

I personally believe that privacy is not a “configuration option” or a nice thing to have, but a fundamental right.

While everyone tries to monetize habits and routines to the max, this website and its apps, like Mind Focus, have been designed under the principle of Total Privacy.

The reason is simple:

It’s what I would want done to me, so it’s what I do to others.

1. No accounts, subscriptions, or data collection of any kind

You don’t need to create an account to use Mind Focus or this website. I don’t ask for your email address, your name, or any other data of any kind.

There are no servers storing your history or any other information, the apps are fully private and offline.

2. Your data is yours and you store it

Everything that happens in Mind Focus stays in your phone. Your work sessions, streaks, and preferences are stored exclusively on your device, which means:

  • No Tracking: No third-party analytics tools are used (such as Google Analytics or Facebook SDK).
  • No Data Selling: Since no data is collected, it is technically impossible to sell or share it with advertisers or other entities.

You can see this for yourself using open-source apps like TrackerControl, where you’ll see that Mind Focus has exactly zero tracking libraries (and you can also check the gigantic number most other apps tend to have).

3. Full Control on your end

You are the sole owner of your information and the app includes native tools so you can:

  • Export: Create backups of your data in a JSON file to save wherever you decide (Google Drive, local files, etc.).
  • Import: Restore your data on a new device without anyone else being involved.
  • Delete: Erase all your information from the app with a single tap.

4. Minimal App Permissions

The application requests the minimum permissions necessary to function correctly — and as you’ll see, there are only two:

  • Audio: To generate isochronic tones and brown noise in real time.
  • Storage: To allow you to save your backups.

And that’s it, seriously.

5. Changes to This Policy

This policy is so simple that it’s unlikely to change, because it is part of what I firmly believe in.

That said, if a feature requiring a new permission is added in the future, it will be communicated transparently within the app itself, not through intrusive emails or TOS documents with twenty thousand words.

Everything is built in the European Union, and thus falls under GDPR jurisdiction, although it really doesn’t, since no data is collected, but I think you get what I mean.

6. Website Privacy

This page also uses no trackers, analytics, or those tiresome cookies that claim to take privacy seriously.

If they really did, they wouldn’t set them.
